A #Culturebox example

In previous posts, I have blogged about two different concepts that I would like to combine today. Just a few hours ago I had another cultural cross-over with Mike Watson and his class as part of the #culturebox concept.

Mike has been studying ‘fables’ with his class and contacted me asking would I read an Australian fable to his class in England. Of course I jumped at the chance. In addition to having yet another live cross using Google Hangout, we used a tool called, ‘Hangout on Air’. Sometimes referred to as ‘Broadcast on Air’. The purpose for this was to have a copy of our live cross so that parents of the English school could see what their children were doing. They will also use some of the video for their school assembly next week.
